i’ve been putting off hating on the ml because his side was never explained and i live by innocent until proven guilty. i don’t think i can completely hate him though because yes there was major neglect towards his wife and i won’t even justify it, however i think he also tried (a very minimal effort) to care for her in his own way?? even if his decisions made it look otherwise, he deserves a second chance to prove himself because on one hand, he didn’t have enough power to protect her either and it’s not like he knew that her father was going to make major effort in ruining her life
