that's not why he hates her tho, he hates her and her mother bc her mother was from a viscount family i think? i don't remember but she was a lower rank than he was and he thought she wasn't worthy of being w him bc of her 'lowly' status either way he's a dick
I really can't get behind this trope of the father hating the kid because the mother died in birth. By the logic they use, you could also say the father killed the mother because he didn't wrap it. -_-
