I watched once a live action of something similar to this ( one guy with super long hair and light clothes ( a professor) and the other one with shorter hair and dark clothes ( a police detective) and everything was set in modern times but they still fighted evil ghosts and jumped between worlds plus you felt the tension between these two )

besides this IM VERY MOTIVATED TO WRITE MY OWN FIC OF THE JIANGS AND WWX BEING HAPPY, NO ONE DIED , THEY DIDNT EXPERIENCE AS MUCH MISFORTUNE AS IN THE NOVEL....SISTER, MOTHER, FATHER, BROTHER, AND ADOPTED BROTHER ALL LIVE TOGETHER PEACFULLY AND THEN WWX GETS ENGAGED TO LWJ AND SHOWS HIM OFF TO HIS ADOPTIVE PARENTS AND ANNOYS JIANG CHENG ALL THE TIME INSTEAD OF BAD BLOOD.GMDSKJGHAKJGHD at this point thats the only thing thatll make me happy again.
