though literally all of his actions could be blamed on the fact that this is an a/b/o and they have animalistic traits and still act without reason even w the fact that they’re human bc of their alpha or omega side. idk, it really depends how u look at it
honestly... the author even acknowledged matthew as a toxic character, so it’s not like they planned for matthew’s actions to be percieved as ones of a good person. i just dislike that *this* is his redemption arc bc really he didn’t do anything to properly apologize and personally i’m still very eeeeh abt his character. he’s just not a good person and a baby won’t fix the holes they have in their relationship. i do love the other characters so i’m not dropping the story bc i like ian and jaeho enough to overlook it
