Yea even if there was romance, how would he like someone that is decades younger than he is? It just doesn’t really make sense, unless if authornim intended for it to be ‘age-is-just-a-number’
I don’t think it’s about the romance per say. It’s more about how Arthur is encountering situations he never did in his previous life. He’s facing challenges he never faced before. And he still doesn’t consider the body he’s in as his own. It’s all very different for him since he was reborn but remembers everything. In the end, he probably will reject tessia until he sees her as a woman, but it’s almost like he’s finally encountered a problem that only he has as his reborn self besides not being comfortable sword fighting in his new body (which was fixed last season anyway). This chapter kinda felt like the start of something. He’s learning things he didn’t know in his past life that were still available to him even then. I’m not sure if that makes too much sense but that’s my take on it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
It was kind of refreshing to have someone call him immature, and I wouldn’t say it’s true, but he definitely is at a loss for what to do, which has not happened before.
Idk man I’m not all for this romance in the story, honestly I think it’s good even without the romance. Art doesn’t need to be thinking about a partner at 13, they're all basically middle schoolers.
