I haven't read the novel but from the spoilers I've seen Arjen is pushed out the picture
spoiler: the guardian that belongs to the both of them is in love with arien and that like unfair and weird.
Yes I am reading the novel and Arjen will give his power to Arien and will only become a side character (Swordsman lol).
Sigh I’ve read the comments that arjen is being pushed out from the story. Honestly I kinda wished it includes both of the twins’ lives growing up which would be such a good plot however thats not the case. Both twins should be the main protagonists give arjen some love please ;_;
