I don't think 'misunderstood' is exactly correct. He's being appropriately understood based on his actions. I think the misunderstood cliche is used to explain away a lot of shitty behaviour without good reason, if he doesn't want to be viewed that way he needs to communicate and not treat the people he supposedly loves like less than the dirt he walks on

Your opinion. I just see a bit deeper into his character. Often people who are misunderstood exhibit bad behavior because they simply don’t know better or are crying for help or attention. I’m not excusing his behavior I just think there are reasons behind it. He is an orphan being raised by a rich asshole, do we really expect him to be nice and “normal”? Nobody really talks to him about anything they just like to have him around for mostly superficial reasons. Where exactly was he supposed to learn all the things we expect of him?

It's not that we don't "see a bit deeper" into his character. It's obvious what the creator is trying to go for in making him the cold guy with the sad back story, and there are always reasons behind characters like yahwi doing shitty things, no one's disputing that and it's pretty standard. It's just that him being an ass has been dragged out for way too long to the point where his 'reasons' aren't enough and the redemption and pity arc that usually comes for these characters is a bit too late. That's all

It was dragged out too long. But I think I just never forgot his backstory. And we still haven’t gotten the whole thing. I’m just holding my judgement until further info is revealed. We don’t have Cain’s full story either. And Jooin is arguably the worse at communicating in the whole bunch and can’t remember that he already knew Yawhi (and possibly Cain too, who knows?). I just definitely don’t hate Yawhi as much as many do. And I’m willing to hear him out so I enjoyed this chapter.

Omgg i fucked him when he is drunk and i throw money on his face b-but i love him i have bad childhood People can change when they really wanted it but this dude choose to act like this all the time from the start AND if he want to change now idc its too late for him i really dont understand your perspective dude ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
To be honest, I think this "make us pity Yahwi" arc would have gone over better earlier and I was waiting for it for ages, but it feels so too little too late now. Him being an inconsiderate asshole dragged on for WAY too long that the redemption arc feels shallow and even now it sounds like he's just making excuses and blaming Jooin for not seeing how much Yahwi really cares...well yeah you were a dick to him and shunned him in public among other things? It's not his responsibility to dig through your bullshit to see how much you care. Ahhhh I can't.
I'll still stick around to see how everything turns out but at this stage I don't feel anything for yahwi aside contempt.
