I don’t know if the emperor knows he’s two people yet, or else we would’ve seen a big reveal, or something that alludes to him figuring out the truth.
I still think the emperor believes they are one person, but his subconscious can tell the difference that’s why he prefers calling him rael, and he could kind of tell when daniel switched back with rael early on.

I don't know. I mean Lion knew Rael was his nickname but him saying "It's Rael" after hearing the news about Daniel's death makes me confused. Maybe Lion thinks it's not someone else but the one he's looking for
