He isn't stupid and his mentality isn't bad either, in fact I agree with him. Why is she concerned about gossip that isn't even true? Why should she go out her way to please people that doesn't like her? She has to understand that no matter how nice you are there always will be someone that hates you. Plus the maids job isn't to gossip, it's best you fire an employee that makes you feel uncomfortable then keep them because you want to be on their good side and please them.

Agree with you. He isn't stupid... If i were in that situation ill knock all those maids heads and in a cold murderous voice tell them that they are here to work and not gossip.

Sometimes... Its better to be just you and not care avout what others think. They must never dictate of what or who you are.

Those kinds of people who are easily influenced are fast to feel hurt and betrayal. For they expect that the change they did will be reciprocated.

I love his logic and his capacity to think of that. Its not complicated. Its not even an issue. They are not doing their job so fire them. They are bringing some people - and this scenario - the nobles - so fire them.
