oml saaame!! I literally hate that the female characters are made to share the mc in almost every harem directed to the male audience. Like who would wanna share their lover...? You’ll rarely find a harem manga where the male mc would choose just one person to be with. And the sad thing is that the boys in the comment section be like “YAY HAREM!! POLYMEROUS—“ like uhm sir... that ain’t polymerous, that’s plain polygamy. The girls not in love with each other too— they be shaming the polymerous name bruh. I wonder if they would like it the other way around, if the mc had to share his lover with other dudes. Obv they wouldn’t like it with their huge ego—

Sometimes mangakas write harems as if the female characters want there to be a harem and become sister wives (but at the same time bicker with each other) and the central male character just goes along with it like a dumbass. I have a deep hatred of harems, and the type I mentioned above is one of the worst.
So far it seems that Kidan only has eyes for Platy and the rest of the female cast are his friends/comrades/child (as in the case of Veil).
I really really really hope they either introduce new male characters to balance the ratio or the female characters keep doing what they've been doing (i.e., minding their own business and being friends with everyone).
