Harassing artists and scanlators is a shitty thing to do but comenting on a story and having a discussion is another thing. So, they already calling an opinion shitty because the story, is so supposedly "so triggering" is off putting. Reading other previous comments, this particular group is shitty af so this doesn't surprise me.
Yeah, there are that mangakas that are known for having particular stories (like Harada I absolutely loved her work) and even though some have uncomfortable plots, it works because the story is good. It's never the artists fault, we as a reader choose to read her work. So maybe the story is good, but that scanlation group warning? Yeah, edge lord
