I totally agree... Also from the divorcees from my family what I can see is that refusing to take money from the divorce is not at all a smart decision, you're just setting yourself up for more difficulties refusing something that SHOULD actually be yours (and potentially leaving that money for your husbands adulterous lover to spend soooo... although in Hayame’s case the lover immediately broke things off with her husband. Anyways, Hayame wouldn’t be in such a hopeless situation after Issei’s bitch fit if she had just taken ex husbands money *facepalms*)
If she rly cant stand living there she shouldve sold it or rented it out. Then she wouldnt have to rely on issei or the ex. She's the victim but it looked like shes the one who had to hide.
But i guess the author needed her helplessness for the plot. But if this is in irl shed be rly stupid.
