Straight to fighting? He obviously collected some blood. That's all that happened, no fights or anything. We don't know yet what will happen, it's too early to judge.
Besides, the fact that Kafka isn't already dead and harvested, says a lot about how he isn't simply a monster in their eyes. At the very least, he is a curious test subject, which is better than "immidiatly dead", because his fate can change as long as he is alive for it.
They didn't even integrate him he just went straight to fighting, for someone in such a high position he acts very unprofessional.
