They didn’t communicate anything … he went ahead and tried to resolve his issues alone by asking the other teacher to take photos and she didn’t press on to ask him what his issue was.
So for her she doesn’t know where he was coming from and can continue thinking that he views her work lightly.
What they did can’t be considered communication but instead their feelings for each other was much stronger and important for them so they glided this issue aside.
Which in future can result in bigger misunderstanding but still they are cute.
