I think he wanted her to refuse him and not to follow unreasonable orders because he knows she is the type to follow any order even an order that would rise her life if it was for the royal family he wanted her to stand up and refuse but he was angry when she didn't and said she was only with him because he was part of the royal fam... she purposely implied that because she believed she is worthy of him and because she seemed oblivious to common sense she hurt him in this case they are both wrong.... he had good intention but his anger blinded him... he loves her and was ready to be with her but she but the wall and misunderstanding in between them... she kinda frustrates me, yeah she is strong and really cool but I wish she wasn't so clueless...

But, he never really acted like he loved her. His entire reputation preceded him. He's a public playboy, how does he expect her to immediately admit to falling in love with him, when he had a reputation of breaking hearts.

Tbh, I lost interest almost immediately after the prince came in and "swept" the MC off of her feet. I can get the MC's undying loyalty and near fanatical worship of the royal family. So her bending over backwards to obey every single order is fine with me.
And ok, I didn't like that bathing scene with the prince coming to "rescue" the MC. But I get it, typical romance routine. But it gave off red flags from the very beginning.
