You know, that is actually true. They put so much sexy poses, naked bodies, suspicious flushes and all but tbh, the latest chapter really is the only time there's sexualizing. It shows that:
1. Some people are just really that horny but trying to not show it. Trying, I mean. Instead they annouced it here lol.
2. Lloyd is literally not having any reaction to those things, he might as well be asexual. Were you really hoping there's shot*p*rn here? To bad. There won't be. Lloyd's too busy taking the whole world by a storm with magic.

exactly. but we got to understand one thing. manga likes to include those elements as sometimes it drives up the sales. it's a sad thing but we gotta admit that.
1. yeah LOL. they really be outing themselves here.
2. exactly!!! there's so much more to him. the way he acts like what he's doing isn't special. how he is able to think the way he did. he's so charming (not sure if that's the word LOL) in that area that sometimes u just let the sexy poses and whatever be a passing thing. I agree. MC has only been thinking about furthering his knowledge and expanding his power. I find it cute and amusing. and then there are people going "are you really secualizing him?" :/

I kinda agree?
It does bother me the amount of nudity, underwear flash and low to high view frames. I mean... both he and the girls are oversexualized... in the way they are drawn. A 10yo boy with a curvaceous body and apparently bras just doesn't exist in that world.
I did miss the ecchi tag... mainy vuz I got no vibes of it on the cover, title and summary... so even tho many times is used kinda like comic relief to accentuate his lack of interest in those things... the bath scene did catch me off guard... like why would a prince be bathing in the maids communal bath? Yeah he's cute he's 10 and he's not interested but he is a male royalty so makes little sense... it really gave me the oh, unnecessary fanservice vibes.
I love the work. The plot the characters and I do think the art is pretty. A lil exagerated in sexualization sometimes but still very good.
Oh... the female maid behavior does seems like predatory and grooming sometimes and that worries me a little.
So yeah I kinda agree that he's probably ace and that the plot and characters are not sexualized in any way. But the art style is and it grabs attention from the story.... so I get both complaints about sexualizing and the argument that there's the ecchi tag and nothing really sexual in ti...
As a woman that's raised from young to not use such short shorts cuz it could attract bad attention seeing a 10yo being retracted using it, acting cute/coquetish (without meaning) and flashing his booty or at least part of it frequently does drag our mind on the thinking that he's being sexualized. It's more of a sympathetic feel than seeing him that way...
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

i can see why it would bother people, we can only draw it up to it being the direction/style the author is aiming for. i can only say that i think it is done on purpose to get people to be interested in the manga.
hm yeah, probably would want to check the tags, i tend to stay away from the ecchi and harem tags when they are together lol. those mangas are more sexual than this.
like i mentioned, it is in the way the author made the characters, the maid is like hella obsessed with the MC, i would think during those times, even if he doesnt bathe with them, they would still be bathing him. thats usually how it is with royalty in the past.
i love the work too, of course we cant blindly love it and ignore the behaviours of them, esp like you have said, the maid is worrying however, the MC is mentally old enough to know how to maintain a level of boundary?
yeap i can understand what you mean. i think it has become more of like an issue because nowadays we are more aware of being sexualized and what not, that people start to nitpick at everytime that shows even the slightest hint of problems. i am not saying anyone is wrong but i at least think that saying this manga sexualization is too much? there are much much worst manga out there and yet this was the one they chose. :/
but like the arguement against sexual harassment and all, we should never ever blame the clothes, it is always the other party who does not have enough restrained but this isnt the place for this kind of argument LOLOL.

I usually do check them... but apart of those sh*ta p*rn I wasn't expecting so much echi/fanservice from a manga whose mc is a 10yo... The work is so good I did ignore all exagerated fanservice.
I feel he gave up putting the proper distance between them... that bath scene would make more sense if they were bathing him instead of bathing together...
There sure are worse one around in terms of sexualization. I do agree with that and that why i usually keep away from anything with the ecchi or harem tags... the way women is drawn and portrayed in thos is just... haa... makes me feel I'm reading something in those suspicious sites where p*rn ads keep popping up like... it gets tiring... and its sad cuz I miss out in many good comics because of that... ╥﹏╥
In my case more that nitpick is more like... I can't help but identify with them... and it make think things like... who would wear high heels when going to fight or adventure? That sh*t is fricking hard to walk on a paved street and you're telling me they gonna run on rugged terrain with it? What's that even made of?? Put that much strength in a heel and it will brake! Dang that move would fine break her ankles! Or how much back problems those huge tidds may cause or the pain of jumping around with them moving around like that cuz them fine heavy... And the clothes... like... they cut out boobies pockets for them to look like that or how uncomfortable those clothes might be or how hard must be to fight while trying to keep their privates... well.. privates you know... that's why I gave up on them...
In this one is actually more than just the shorts... most od the time when the Mc is not in chibi mode he is drawn with extremely feminine characteristics. Those that are made to attract male interest in most jap comics. Tiptoeing all the time as if there's some invisible heel... the tight gaps accentuated by close knees and feet slightly apart facing each other... the booty sticking out and back drawn as if its arched back... the "delicate" arm and hand movements and poses... the hand gestures... the plumb and shinny lips... the "doe eyes" with long lashes... those are usually seen in the female love interests... and used to make them seem more ladylike and sexy. To make a parallel... it's kinda... you know Robin right? Batman's teen sidekick... there's an older uniform where instead of leggings he uses a green... swim trunk? Speedo? Well it's easy to find it on google... now... imagine him younger, wearing that and moving and posing like catwoman... it's weird.
It's really not a matter of blaming the clothes but of having them (both the clothes and other characteristics) designed to attract male gaze. Like the differences in Harley Quinn's outfit in suic squad and birds of pray... I don't like both movies very much, but it's a easy way to see a female character when she is designed to attract the male gaze and when she is not. The iniciative hawkeye where they draw male heroes wearing the female characters clothes and the poses they are drawn in gives a perspective of how uncomfortable it is to see someone you identify or sympathize with wearing that or making that pose. So it's even worse seeing that being done to a 10yo character that has no intention at all of acting innocently sexy in that way. It went beyond being cute or trap-like...
Sorry, ive written a lot... ( ̄∇ ̄")
My intention is not to bash this comic. It is pretty interesting after all... but just to show why I understand some people doing it and the reason behind it...
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Sorry man, I can only skim through vaguely through the whole thing. It's not that you wrote too much, it's just that I have trouble reading a long, single paragraph like this ( ̄∇ ̄")
But still I get what you're trying to say. It's basically clickbait. But I guess it is a marketing strategy cuz people are horny, no matter what. It's just that some people complaining about the ecchi-ness of a character in an ecchi manga. Which is fine. I guess not everyone can handle ecchi.
guys. LOL. sure. shota con. it's from Japan. what's new. . they put out fucking near hentai shit as manga and call it ecchi. when u see ecchi tagged, isn't this what you'd expect or MORE? don't come preaching to me when there is obv an ecchi tag. you came into this knowing full well what it offered LOL.
this manga is literally just giving him some cute ass clothes. no one is asking you to look at him and think "wtf. they are sexualizing him." bruh. this ain't the only manga. at least this can still be counted as fan service or somewhat. the poses and clothes, I feel, is just playing him to be a trap of some sorts. they only time they showed like sexualizing is the latest one where the dudes just molested the girl. but so far nothing else? they have never did that to our MC.
BESIDES. all the chapters so far offered more than 'fanservice' so I really have to wonder who is the one that is actually SEXUALIZING our MC. is it you?
