Why should he?! They (snakes and other animals no one wants) are taught this is okay behavior. Snakes and other ostracized by society and are forced to live a life of seclusion. So they grow up being hated by everyone, and they grow up with no one to guide them. Did you not see a Curtis abandoned them while they were still babies? Of course he’s a bad caregiver. Also did y’all not forget that they are still animals just in human form. They do think somewhat like us but they still think primarily like an animal. If I was Curtis I wouldn’t give two about her anyway. He’s priority should be only his lady.
I agree with you. No matter how we see them in their human form, their way of thinking is still of an animal. Way different to our thinking, humans. Our knowledge is way different to theirs.
l like Curtis, but I’m almost finding him annoying at this point. I mean he says that this other female is an ‘eyesore’ and that she should leave which the FL probably will say she doesn’t think it’s a good idea, because if she can’t handle just 2/3 males what will happen if she goes to a whole village full of men. But of course it’s Curtis so he won’t care... even though he put the FL in a similar situation by kidnapping her from Parker’s village. I mean can’t he have a little sympathy for her, that’s what would have happened to the FL if she didn’t accept Parker and Curtis, they would have kept her hidden and hounded her constantly about mating.
