Difference between webtoon and novel

It was not explained in the webtoon but in the novel, MC knew from the start that Jaeha did not betray them. He was sure of it that’s why he recruited him in first place. He also figured out by himself that Jaeha might have died soon after their deaths.

First of all, Jae-ha was persuaded by Yang Chen to give the information beforehand because he wanted to prove the skills and raise the status of their Team. Their team was being ostracised in the company. However, MC did know about these tests and he change the information with fake ones beforehand. MC concluded that there must someone else in Pandora who knew or has the ability to find out about their abilities.

Second, old Jaeha was really mischievous. He will sometimes steal the relics theyve saved and sell it to auctions, or not fix the relics properly. So that time was not the first time he threw a tantrum. However, as MC said, that tomb was not a place they could get out alive even if their relics were fully repaired.

Lastly, the tomb they went to is the tomb where the Crow and other powerful gods are sealed. only the Mastermind behind Pandora who has the authority then can get in and out of their alive. So it was trap to kill MC’s team. (They wanted MC dead because he became a candidate for the position of Majesty, Ruler of all Relics.)

I guess theyre going for a dramatic-comedic route for the webtoon.
