Well I think she was in her first stage of shock, then hope,denial,after that pain,later getting her self through for revenge,the acceptance of her circumstances but trying to forget everything else so she can become normal again
Also, she probably still thinks that her actions affect the brother and father treatment towards her. And by the time 7th lives come, she realized nothing would ever change, and thus the revenge.

Yeah.. it definitely hurt reading the backstories. Sad they were never able to change in the end, but not surprised.
I still find it weird it took her SEVEN lives to finally take action and revenge honestly.. like she was seriously THAT naive
