People get all annoyed about the lack of sex in this series, but I think Haru is being smart and responsible. Some really bad shit happened to Ren in the years before the orphanage. If his mother sold him for drugs, the people who bought him were most likely sexually abusing him... What's going to happen when Haru and Ren finally have sex and it causes flashbacks to his forgotten childhood abuse? Going slow and building a solid, loving foundation will give Ren the best possible experience. Also, the older and taller Ren becomes, the less it will hurt. I think Haru realizes this, which is why he's so adamant about waiting, but refusing to give Ren any information is not the best way to go about things.
