That story is one of my favorites and I agree! I think that the two are so similar due to their slap in the face view of love and relationships. Relationships aren't perfect, no matter how much they seem to be in the beginning. Both stories take a failing relationship, then show us the beautiful parts before it fell apart. It showed perfect relationships between the mcs and the now exes. I started crying when I saw zhishu's flashbacks with the ex. and the relationship with this mc and ex was beautiful too. Although this story isn't as painful, it still hits hard because it slaps the reader with reality. The truly painful part of 10 years for me though was the fact that Zhishu couldn't move on. He knew that the way his ex treated him was horrible and left, but he couldn't stop himself from still loving him. His last words at the end of the story was literal heartbreak. Sorry I'm ranting a bit, but I really like stories like this and was glad that someone else mentioned the similarities between the two stories. and I agree the ex in 10 years was a hateful cheating bastard.

This kind of reminds me of the10 years I loved you the most besides it's not a sad it's close to being as sad..10 years i loved u the most was soo sad i feel sad just looking at thr namr. Also another difference is the ex boyfriend was more of a duck..the mc had a disease tht he would soon die from and while thts going on his boyfriends cheating on him..then mc realizes he wants to dpwnd his last days happy so he leaves his boyfriend and is happy with the doctor but when the ex boyfriend finds out the mc was sick he suddenly wants him back..the ending made me cry so hard tbh...when the ex finnaly found out where the mc was only to find out the mc asked the doctor to brun his bldy when he died....the ex was a dick and i felt awful for the mc...especially when the mc called sad wanting to hear his bfs voice only to hear him telling the guy hes cheating on him with to be quite while they were in bed together..the way the mc feigned ignorance because he still loved the ex..i hate the ex but they loved each other so much for 10 years.....at the end even tho the doctor treated him so well i still shipped the mc with the ex because the mc kept having flashbacks of their time together..but im glad the mc didnt die with his ex and died with the doctor instead...i hated the ex cheatibg bastard
