They don’t make it as clear here, but in the novel it’s stated it was never an official engagement seeing as its only something their mothers spoke about but never actually happened. However, Ian kept calling her “my fiancée” because he liked teasing Louise and it eventually became a habit as he came to love her.

it makes sense. but Louise also told Ian that she wanted to call off the engagement for 1 year so that they can have a chance to fall in love with other people.

Yeah I would just say reading the novel is better because the manhwa is leaving out a lot of things that could be confusing to the reader without context
I thought Luoise and Prince were engaged ??? So how is she getting marriage proposal from Simon???
Also the Prince kinda agrees to their marriage????
