The thing is, people are never black or white. Lady Yvette is the center of high society, that's why she cares about appearance and manners.
Cecilia on the other hand are Sabrina's daughter, who is hostile to Lady Yvette. Of course at some degree she has to conceal any partiality out of respect to her mother. She just seems like a naturally quiet and blunt person.
Also the reason she's being "mean" is out of goodwill, she wants Dylan to be able to hold on her own even when Cedric is not around. Even she apologized afterwards.

I completely disagree with you, ryin16. As vaneella stated already, people are not black and white. Cecilia is a character that feels very human. Compared to e.g. her brother, who feels like a fictional cliche, who we already know everything about even though he is yet to make an appearance, she is layered and complicated. Characters like him are very boring after reading just a few novels, while characters like Cecilia are very intriguing and can lead to interesting story twists.
People are not just Good or Bad you know. That depends on a person's perspective. A person who is liked by everyone may seem bad to you and vice versa. Life is not fiction right. Good people are not always sweet, giving and kinda bad people are not always evil and rude. A human being's persona always has multiple layers and to be honest that is what makes them human.

Firstly, I didn't said what Lady Cecilia did was wrong, did I? I write I don't hate her. She just a bit confusing and it doesn't clicked well with me. And that's it..
I only disagree. Disagree is never an act of hate and in a pro-con-debate no one truly right, no one truly wrong.
And I know very well people are not good or bad, or black or white. Even me already experience it. I'm one who will tell my friends their mistakes directly where its only two of us.. For some I'll be rude and noisy, but for others I'll be someone who care and doesn't want them get reprimanded by anothers.
I mean if Cecilia is a real life human, she always be welcomed to change my opinion about before I start avoid her.
And even if I avoid her, it was for my peace of mind. If I always need to be focus and aware whether the words come out from her mouth this time a compliment or a sarcastic one, I think I'll get exhausted.. And that's toxic in my life. MY LIFE. Not hers, not others. Just mine... it also not her fault, not her flaw, just my own preference. Just mine...
And once again, these opinion was more "if it was me" and never I intended to judge Lady Cecilia as black or white. We always have those kind of people who don't clicked well with us, right?

Tbh, I don't really like this blond lady named Cecilia. I never like a character that have ambiguity. Either choose on the good side or bad side, don't take both.
Lady Yvette at first choose to hate the MC (because she thought Cedric being a pushover that couldn't say no to gramps). Then after a few convos and chaps, she choosed to love her. Dylan is sweet after all. This, I accept.
But our blond lady here, she keeps going back and forth.. She is calm, and then acted rude, and smile and became kind again, and then said something rude again, and then apologize and became supportive to the MC. I mean..... can't u stop being confusing???
If this was real life and I were Dylan, this Cecilia will be my first on the list of people to avoid. I don't hate her. But I don't like her too. It just for my peace of mind, I'll avoid her lololol..
