Author wrote him as a pure object of fetish, that's why. Large, independent, arrogant but beautiful man who repeatedly puts himself in a position of vulnerability for the mc to exploit, rape, abuse and feel good about. That's why d* keeps talking like "this tall, arrogant man... is kneeling in front of me? Is asking for my help?" and the like. If Minho was rich (like Wookyung), had friends (like Haesol), or family to fall back on (like d*), we wouldn't be having so many of his rape scenes at mc's hands. He also seemingly has no psychological impact from the verbal and physical abuse he faced at every step, the girls making fun of his erectile dysfunction, Wookyung beating him up, Haesol belittling him, mc doing all that to him, his batchmates clowning him for begging in front of the Dean, him having no friends, living in poverty for so long, being insecure, having no family or friends. I mean if d* had trauma from the criticism 10 years ago, we can also have a (much greater) mental health discourse for Minho's character as well.
He's written as a blank page only for the twisted fantasy of the female mc, that no matter what happens, he only has her and will only turn to her, even if this implies that he'll have to get assaulted. Author also purposely doesn't show him being traumatised (like Haesol was when d* choked him) so people are unable to fathom the actual impact of the abuse he's facing. This is very common in hentai, think of beautiful girls who get repeatedly put in a position of abuse no matter how successful or independent they are. They don't ever seriously acknowledge that they are being raped and always proceed to enjoy it all for the pleasure of the viewer via the eyes of the rapist. Hence how Minho only "get hard" with d* and only cums when she's raping him. Sb was supposed to be a story for exploration of these characters because that's how it put itself across. Strong flawed woman faces men and finds love but alas it's actually just another trashy ass hentai story that got us all involved for too fucking long with 0 payback.
