Father was never meant to harm fl. Emperor could and still can control father, and made him do anything through ring's power. So not to harm fl, he himself put her in the room or something (I don't exact remember this) then father gave her knife to protect herself in case some tried to kill her and after sent ml to protect her not to kill her. But fl misunderstood and killed herself. Her last life was full of misunderstandings between her and her dad.
