Maybe Kahir only married Ella because he knew she loved him so he thought she would love their children too. That way he maybe hoped the children wouldn't have to grow up like he did. It's also around the time where Kahir needs to get married before his younger brother.

i can't do this, thinking of how affectionate he was to his children made my heart skip a beat. i refuse to believe that he actually fell in love with her the first time, especially with such a rotten personality, I'm sure she must have slipped here and there before and i want to believe he was holding on for a reason TTTT when he told her she was the only one for him.... ahhhg i dont know how she can be so stupid to not value the life she got to live.
