Weird the original translator is also an illegal translator right and they don't even request the author's permission to translate so why did you said that it is disrespecful. They aren't even the one that make it anyway and if there is someone that translate a new chapter faster why not respect them too since they also work on that piece and not steal the original translator work. If you hate it then just don't read it.

Well, you aren’t wrong but having groups who “claim” one title will usually give us much better quality uploads. Also, people will feel discouraged if other people keep uploading over them, while working hard on that same chapter.

I personally prefer quality over quantity and honestly being nice isn’t that hard - uploading over other people isn’t too (●'◡'●)ﾉ

I keep saying the same thing.
I am in multiple translation groups and they all say don’t repost our work because we are doing this illegally.
So technically what they’re doing is pretty too ,
I think if anyone translating things properly they should be able to do it

But hey how can you know if someone already own this chapter. I say it is everyone right since it is illegal. You can't just tell someone to follow the rules if you yourself do not follow it, right?

In the first place why there are illegal translators? It's because they want us who can't read manhwa/manga/other works in the original language can read those works. So I think there are no problem here? If the work are bad then just don't read it and just wait the translator that made more good works to translate it since you prefer quality right? Whats wrong with waiting more until a better one is uploaded?

Just think of the worse works are dedicated for those like me that prefer quantity and respect the new translator that took their time to translating this and do your own thing until your 'original' translator translate a new chapter. Isn't hard right?

Tbh I follow lots of translator and they even tramslate the same manhwa and there are no problems (It has been going on for more than 6 months). Its not like they translate just to gain more viewers, right? They both have their own viewers so why fight over a work thats not even theirs. Everyone kind enough to help us read cam translate it!!!!

It’s usually pretty clear if a group has “claimed” one work and it’s not that hard to find out if a group has dropped one work too. I agree with some points you said but I’m looking at another perspective of this problem - if people keep upload over other people, at long term the quality will just get worse and worse. It’s more consistent if a few upload than everyone who wants to. Plus it’s just not nice towards the original group who work on those works too. People will always say “well this entire site is rude because it’s uploading illegal scans” but even if we are on this illegal side, we don’t have to act like rude people, it’s not hard to wait a little and it’s not hard to respect some “etiquette”! ^_^

Since you prefer quantity oder quality, our disagreement will just continue like that since we will miss each other point lmao... those uploads aren’t even bad quality - they are totally fine! At least the og scans group support author legally by buying the raws. The other translators can too but to me it looks like they just retranslation to English from another language thts not korean, which means they didn’t buy the raws.. already translating illegally yet not even supporting author. Pretty disrespectful

Well if people prefers drama instead of peace they can try snipe the groups.. lol they said don’t repost meaning if its repost author caught u means its over for everyone until its official release, not a good thing. They are all doing it illegally but they have rules in scans world. they don’t claim the manhwa , they are not the author nor are they an offical translation group, official translation groups would be considered lehzin or tappy where they got the authors approval. anyone can translate if they want to in this case because it’s not owned

To avoid dramas they dont snipe unless they like dramas theyll snipe

No one cares who translates as long as it is clean , proper , and faster than getting 1 chapter every few months

When groups start dramas its never rly ended good it’ll just cause more hate and death threats to one another lol its better to ask the one tht translate the manhwa first then do it. Usually groups allow others to do same projects since they nicely asked it’s pretty respectful way and peaceful too
