For me, I'm fine with what people ship, but I despise when people try to shove their ship onto others. Like, yes, we get it, you like that couple, but don't try to trash other's ships and parade that yours is the superior one. It's why I never go on fanmade content comments because there's always people who like to shit on others.
As someone who does a bunch of shipping, whether canon or not, I think it's perfectly fine to ship who you want to ship. People have different opinions and likes and dislikes so I don't think it's nice to shame other people for something they do for fun unless it's against the law or against human morals. If you dislike shipping, then that's fine but you don't have to insult all of us, especially the ones who don't take it seriously. If someone starts going batshit crazy bcs of a ship, then I'm sorry in behalf of them. Like how we have an opinon, it's not wrong if you don't ship characters that others do. Basically, we have a toxic community even outside of the shippers but you shouldn't generalise us since not all of us act toxic if our opinion isn't agreed upon.
I agree but people who ship without any information about the game/anime/anything tend to start disputes within the community. People who also ship, example, all might and deku are usually toxic. In general, people who ship ships that are pedifiley or other problems are usually toxic, this is coming from someone who has talked to someone who does ship all might and deku.

Toxic anime fans be like *cough* my hero *cough* but any way i miss the old anime/manga community ot was pretty peaceful and everyone either agreed or talked ofc there is a few disagreements but it wasnt big ,but now its like this anime/manga has better art style,cant you see the love between the two straight bestfriend characters that dont have time for romance,this manga author should make this ship lgbt,and its not even the old fans its the new ones who act like they know everything.
