feels like history gonna repeat itself, but im most bummed that it showed everything just wasted away...

all for a few years of peace. tbh i feel most comfortable with this ending, if eren lived... well he would be the villain in everyone's eyes and he might be executed anyways for mass genocide plus war might restart after a few decades to avenge all who he killed, by that time they would have the tech to defeat them/ or maybe they all wouldnt have any titan powers anymore and they just fight a normal war, either way there would be war. right now, the eldians and island devils are like heroes in everybody's eyes as they defeated the attack titan/founding titan who was planning NOt to stop the global genocide. so basically they had years of peace after eren died and maybe hundreds of years of peace had passed till the boy in the last panel appeared. all for a few years of peace. this is what i think tho but a lot of people have diff opinions of the ending..
