yes!! i think his initial reaction when yoon came back was valid, and it really sucks that taejoo is struggling like this now
ME!! I love Taejoo tooo I want them to get back together as well but not right away like a slow burn reunion of their love or something
I think people who are against him are people who never experience being in a relationship or just dont understand whats being in a relationship is
I am with the team of “let the three of them be happy” people here act like Taejoo did not suffer for five years. I’m sure most of them can’t even wait as long as he did.
Same, it's really not his fault at all.
His initial anger is justifiable when the person he thought was dead came back fine.
You can tell in their first meeting that he was pissed off because he had wrongly assumed that Yoon was in perfect health but never bothered to tell him that he was fine, and thus he felt like he was abandoned by Yoon. When he realised that Yoon was in fact in a coma, he was shocked and hurt because he realised that it wasn't Yoon's fault, but well, it is not like he can just up and leave his current relationship, because he has a strong sense of loyalty in love (even if he is conflicted, which is why he agreed to date his current bf when an accusation of rape was put on him)
I think his further anger and lashing out at Yoon was mostly from the pain of losing a love one without proper closure and his coping mechanism (which I mean, is kinda awful because Yoon was in pain from everything being confusing and suddenly fast forwarding 5 years ).
His reaction of when Yoon randomly asked him to sleep with him is justifiable, I mean, if I was Taejoo, I'd cry too, because it's as if Yoon just disregarded the value of their cherished relationship and just wanted to convert it from a loving, understanding one tinted with grief to a relationship where they are just fuck buddies. It makes it seem as if Yoon treated their whole past relationship like some sort of joke. That he just wanted to reduce what they had into something superficial like "just in it for the sex, not you".
but anyways, Taejoo has lots of issues to sort out. damn, poor boy couldn't handle grief well, and when yoon suddenly show up, he lashes out on HIM!!! i get where he comes from, but I honestly wished that he didn't become defensive and just cut Yoon off like that. If they had a proper heart to heart earlier, they'd heal better and much faster.
am i the only one on team taejoo? like i know he’s not endgame but i feel so bad for him and his character is pretty realistic. also i feel like a lot of people are forgetting he was borderline raped and pretty much forced into this relationship. i know he shouldn’t of pushed him away and that’s his own fault but i feel so bad for him. also his new bf literally lied to him so i blame everything on him ( if u read raws yk what i’m talking abt )
