being fated mates means that your bodies are sexually attracted to each other by instinct because your both fated pairs, it’s up to the mate if he or she wants to fall in love with his or her fated pair.
Hmm to make it more simple think of fated pairs as a curse or gift. For every human on earth there will be a fated pair for you, there are 7 billion people on earth, you might not meet to your fated pair so you pay no attention to it. Years later you fall in love with someone deeply, the two of you got together and became a pair, now you coincidentally meet your fated pair, will you be willing to give up your original lover whom you love very deeply for a fated pair you’ve never met because of instinct. This would then be considered as a curse because you don’t even like your fated pair but are just drawn to them (that really sucks)
Fated pair mangas are mostly about the fate that brings the fated pairs together, but not all fated pairs have to be together it’s only a coincidence. And if both sides of the pairs like really like each other not just because their fated because they generally like each other then they were meant to be and this would be considered as fate or a gift

Im a bit confused about the part they called fated mate this is a first I heard fated mate when they already had a mate they even loved each other then the fated mate came I dont get it... ISNT A FATED MATE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONE U LOBE IM CRYING CAUSE THEY WERENT DESTINED EVEN THO THEY LOVE EACH OTHER????? it said on thay chapter maybe it was natural to like him as time goes on with his fated mate but then what about the previous mate? What would have happened.. I liked that they were finally together but not until fated mate chap came it was annoying cause of it I didint like the story.
