Yup yup yup. That's the entire point people calling this homophobic are missing. It was never love he had for the original love interest. It was pure obsession and he is going to cling to anyone who shows it to him.
i read the spoilers and wow.. the obsession scares me. they're toxic. not that toxic cute u usually find in shoujos but actually toxic that they need therapy. also ML's dad is an asshole he adpoted rachel because she reminds him of her dad (ML's duke ex lover) he neglects his son and wife too, so disgusting i don't respect him at all
