Right you would think they would be more cautious with how the mom always hid them and they had to move multiple times because a “monster” was after them but no
They did though. They literally question everything he does. And they didn't sleep peacefully, anyone that young (5) would sleep that deep if the environment was comfortable enough. They got good food and mixed vibes from what they were told by mom so yeah they pretty comfortable. Their not old enough to follow through exactly what mom says, though they try.
i know the kids are innocent and all but like they’re literally not just talking to strangers but letting them feed and dress them with minimum wariness/resistance. Heck they dont even mention wanting to go back home or run away back to their mom :// like they were raised with love and protection from mama so i’d expect them to be more attached to her but nah they dont even mention her and are sleeping peaceful beside the kidnapper :v well they’re 5 so i guess it explains their naivety but yeah i still wish they’d look for their mom like the first thing a normal child would. Maybe its just me wanting to see the kids appreciate the mom too after all she went through to protect them.
i mean this whole thing’s a mess to begin with and it rubs me off the wrong way but i’ll keep reading to see how it goes. I already feel like it’s gonna be a stockholm syndrome story
