If she's going to raise him to become a twisted person that could bring the empire to ruins, she should have known that he won't listen to her forever. Their little agreement/relationship is true only up until the rebellion, so his decision to kill the Emperor just to antagonize Charlize makes sense.

As for Charlize, she could have completely brainwashed the prince and made him into her puppet without the ability to think for himself --- but she didn't. Maybe she can't be bothered to take care of him after the rebellion. Or that she knows the prince is too clever, and deep down, she still has a conscience. Either way, she should have seen it coming. You reap what you sow, sister.

    Yea i agree.

Reply to a spoiler(?) I domt think this is a spoiler though

But i think its the former-she doesnt want to take take care of him after the rebellion. She only wants her revenge and she could care less what would happen to him. Thats probably why one of them asked if she really did raise him to be a "good"king

That's true! And I suppose that's the reason why she didn't think that he would go against her orders last minute to forcefully keep her around.
