Well a spoiler below partially shoots a bit of this down the drain but if she doesn’t get to kill the emperor because of Dylan’s actions then the rest of it still stands. I think his decision was not the wisest (at least in regards to maintaining a decent relationship with Charlize)
He is not killing emperor he is making him sword she dont want even her enemey to go trough that so she fear from Dylan and ran away

Yeah I’m going to be honest. His reasons, while understandable, are purely his opinion. And he decided if based off of one page he read in a book (he didn’t show signs of rebelling before). Charlize deserved that moment. She has always been level-headed and didn’t lose her consciousness even as a sword for hundreds of years, so she likely would have been fine after killing the emperor and just lived a chill life.
Basically, Dylan just took the one thing she ever truly wanted and said screw it and killed the emperor himself (since it’s looking like that’s what he did based on this recent chapter). What’s even worse is that Dylan is the only person she mildly trusts so she wouldn’t have expected this from him. That was years of her life and planning down the drain for her. No wonder she ran away. I am going to be so interested in seeing how he manages to convince her to come back, since she is usually pretty sure about her decisions.
