I think he's gonna be selfish and he's not gonna rule the empire like she wanted, he's gonna be cruel, but fair, so the empire is gonna prosper even more than before, so she got her revenge, but she won't be able to leave him, she may try, but she won't succeed, and he will probably not have his way completely too, I don't know how, but I agree with you on that. Everyone's got their own opinion so I thought I'd throw mine into the ring. I really like how twisted these characters are in a way. They're very selfish characters and that's interesting. I like the idea of Dylan taking the chance from char like that because it really fits how selfish he is and how bit by bit he's taking steps that aren't predetermined by char. It steadily escalated from him kissing her, to throwing that party for her, to now taking away the chance to kill the emperor.
To be fair, I don't think either character truly "deserves" to have their way. Char's goal is very selfish too and she's been manipulating dylan to manifest it.
I liked the whole plot of overthrowing the king and seizing the throne, I thought the little snippets we got about the plan coming together were kinda cool (tho I did want more). But mostly, I'm really hyped to see what happens next because this was the end goal. I can't wait to see how Char reacts to Dylan doing that and how dylan is going to run the government here on out.
