I disagree with you guys if you think him beating his brother up in that manner is okay. First, his brother is crying. If you're trying to educate younger siblings, you don't beat them up when they're crying, that's being almost abusive (picture yourself hitting your sibling, or family, when they're crying and have snot running down their face. Its a horrifying image). Second, he isn't slapping him, or hitting him on the arms or anything, he's kicking him down, putting his feet on his chest.
If he was a good brother (not going to a good person, coz he's clearly a criminal), he would get his brother up, console him, or atleast let him calm down, before slapping some sense into him rather than kicking him down. In this moment, his elder brother is channelling their father.
His reasons might be that he wants to protect his brother from going down the wrong path, but is this the way? No matter his issues, his personality, his profession, he's using violence on a family member. If no amount of back-story or trauma can justify how MLs treat FLs in shoujo, or MCs in shounen ai/yaoi, then no amount of any backstory/good intent can justify or condone yosef's actions, and they certainly shouldn't be lauded.
I used to like yosef, before knowing he was a criminal who treated his family like this when push came to shove. He turned to crime, didn't he? And now he has the gall to beat his brother up over the same? Even if he's family, if there's one person who has no right to beat yohan up for his violent choices, its yosef.
some people don’t have siblings and it shows the brother is clearly worried about him and he didn’t touch him as a way of abusive but as his own way of trying to say you want to be tough and cool then suck it up

I get that some people don't have siblings, that's why I said 'or family'. And if you can justify showing worry by beating up a family member, then there's something very wrong about the way you're thinking.

the guy didn’t really beat him if he could he could’ve killed him you have to understand some siblings have a physical relationship that may look bad to others but that’s how people are
