bdsm needs consent beforehand, Taesung never asked him if he was ok with it or even if he liked it, he just tried it and found out that (maybe) he likes it. Sooyoung is mentally destroyed and Taesung uses this to his advantage, knowing he won't leave anytime soon (and even if he does, Taesung made clear what his intentions are)
even if this is their dynamic, it doesn't make it less disturbing :)

yeah, choking and overstimulating are pretty hardcore and should be asked for consent first. but in yaoi's world (sadly) consent seems to be the last thing they think of. it's undeniable that consent is very important and should be the first thing that has to be made clear
it's just that i think that is how they act since the beginning of the story. to me they didn't get progressively worse, or sooyoung being treated badly. hence why I'm confused on people saying "taesung is scary" or "sooyoung being treated worse than before" now when that's how they act since the beginning of the story. dude been overstimulated since the first time they had sex, and taesung has always been rough

I think a lot of them are just pointing it out so don't get too pissed ahahah, it's true that Taesung treated him like this since the beginning but the abuse also involves mental health and not just physical. At the beginning Sooyoung was somewhat stable (or at least not this bad) and it developed to what it is now so seeing him like this makes the physical part look even worse (even tho it isn't) I guess that's what makes people uncomfortable? But I also agree with y'all, it's pretty clear this is a cruel, psychological story so it's kinda dumb to feel this urge to attack it (Idk if that was clear)
correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this their dynamic? taesung praising/teasing and sooyoung overstimulating. isn't that how they act since the beginning of the story? I'm lowkey confused people are saying taesung is scary or sooyoung being abused/getting bad treatment
