When I studied to be a teacher, part of the study included religion. I was horrified to learn that the catholic teachings along with other religions was that of, only the pure white skin blonde haired and blue eyed belonged to god. While those of dark skin belonged to the devil. Even to day those of religion will often refer to people of color as the devils children, and those blessed by god are as I've already stated. This explained why I was treated in such a harsh manner as a kid attending a catholic school run by nuns.

Well that is only how some churches think. This doesn't apply to all churches. As a catholic myself I strongly disagree with the fact that white skinned people would go to heaven and dark skinned people would go to hell. In my church, we are taught that no matter who you are, what gender, what colour, God will forgive your sins. Only if you cannot change then you will be sent to hell. I'm not the most professional, but :P.
So pls don't make catholic people look bad :((((
Where did I state 'white people go to heaven and the dark ones go to hell?? And as a catholic myself I'm happy to say I saw the light and I'm no longer brain washed. Actually, I read the 'facts'. Too many to go into. I sympathize, its hard to face the truth.

Thank you so much. I still attend Sunday Mass, but now see things in a different light. I now stay true to my own beliefs and question everything. The above information was actually printed in the early bibles being forcibly remove later on.
