yeah im confused too. i thought he wasn't interested with it. i understand if he wanted female knights and lady in waiting for chloe's sake but not consorts. since we all know that a lot of women are just waiting for the opportunity to gain political power through the prince.

I think that because the other ppl keep forcing it on him he’s gonna “go through with it” but actually he won’t pick any of the girls so than no one will be his consort if he deems them not fit.

The curs is not yet lifted. They're still searching for the magic tower and tell them that they already found the princess but nobles were thinking that the emperial is already free from curse.
I don't know if the curse is lifted yet or not because they said a princess needs to be born and be in palace
