Saki fell in love with her in elementary school, but there’s incident happened to Hotaru with hair. Saki felt like he has no right to fall for her because he didn’t go save her from her immature “friend”. But till they are high schooler, Hotaru held umbrella for him, Saki knew who she is and decided to make a move on her. This feels right for me.

I feel like everyone likes they manga so much and I’m here thinking that the guy is a little creepy? Like? I’m still reading vol 4 but confessing just bc she held an umbrella and he’s so in love with her to the point it was sweet and creepy at the same time??? Like if he liked her for a while then the amount of love would be understandable but falling this hard the day after he met her and his behavior around her friends when she’s not around doesn’t sit right with me but overall it’s such a sweet manga
