I wouldn’t say equally toxic but you’re right, we don’t know what Taehwan’s been through yet. He’s made it clear that it’s a personal trauma and not general homophobia/bigotry although that still doesn’t excuse him from being a jerkass. Not sure if Yeonwu should be called homophobic (more like his dad is) but he triggered Taehwan’s trauma by doing something he wasn’t supposed to do so he’s not sooo innocent ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
