nah he does not deserve our pity. He is honestly in my opinion a despicable human being. Even if he had some "valuable" reason for hating his son, his son was a god damn small kindergarten kid, an innocent soul and there is no reason for an adult, especially a parent to treat him like this when he is not directly the reason for these strong emotions. It is not his fault who his parents are and what they did. he is just a small kid who yearns for affection from his parents. The adult should know this and be mature enough to make this kind of distinction instead of being petty and venting all these emotion on this little child, knowingly hurting and abusing him in the process with the intention of destroying him like this.
