Why No tho? If you're reading properly, Song Yuanxun doesn't do something so bad with Mumu. He hates him at first but the people around them are the most responsible in bullying Mumu specially those stupid followers of him. And he already knows its Mumu he matched and still talks to him and tries to protect and takes care of Mumu in his own way. Tho lying is not an excuse. Song Yuanxun deserves Mumu's forgiveness. And Fyi. Mumu's brought this to himself by depending too much on Andrew. And he friggin forgets the kindness he recieves from Song Yuanxun from the past chapters.
