The more chapter the more Yechan shows of his childishness side...it might look cute, but....

20 and 27 is actually a huge difference even in real life so this webtoon is actually pretty realistic haha. most 20 year olds are still pretty immature bc your brain develops until 25 and you go through lots of life changes in your 20s.

When we visit villages, the 20+ y.o there were even more composed and mature than we were...
I don't feel it very natural coming from him, cuz author obviously tried to make him cute and doggy-like, that's my take anw.. Everyone is welcomed to their own opinion

Lots of age gap with 20+ dating 30+ in manga I read, the couples can behave in the same wavelength without the older needs to always 'patronise' or teach them this and that

sure this is a webtoon so it's a bit extreme but this can actually happen in real life. i don't think it's just bc he's from the village, it's also because he never had a close friend like sunyool before and no peers he could relate to. the same happened to me when i was 20, i was very overbearing and clingy when i found a new friend bc i didnt rlly learn how to socialize in school, i was scared that i would end up alone again and also was super excited to finally find people who get me. what i am saying is, that loneliness and lack of social skills can make you act like this. yechan is missing lots of experiences that people make in their teenage years so he is more immature than the average 20 year old.

I'm pretty sure he graduated from normal high school... With students of his own age... Is just that when the others left for Uni he stayed on the village. We don't know if he was a loner or not at school... That detail never been mentioned.

Korean high school graduated at 19, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't lack peers for that long, with his bright personality, it didnt match if he was a loner at school. ..while you learnt like a lot about dating, crushes, and stuff from high school... Even tho we might not experience ourselves, we heard friends and other students dates and broke up.. Esp since he was a boy, high school boys did talk about porn it was inevitable..

Here Yechan lacked basic knowledge (I'm not talkin about experience) about social lives and life in general to the point he looked like elementary school (he thinks his heart thumping is the sign of cardiac disease, c'me on!). And it's because the author obviously tried making him this pure innocent 20s man in modern days. But I can't pretend some of them are downright illogicaly forced for 20+ man.

true, we don't know how his high school life was, there are just too many details missing which is why i think yechan is in desperate need for an arc that focuses on his character development. we know exactly why sunyool thinks and acts the way he does bc the story focused on his backstory. but we barely know anything about yechan, right now hes just the two dimensional pure innocent character. is the author making yechan act like this just to fulfill his role as the pure hearted innocent happy go lucky character? or is there an actual reason for his innocence and lack of common knowledge? we dont know anything and thats why yechan kinda feels flat as a character next to sunyool.
