Great questions....that infertility thing was a weak way out for both of them IMO. I’m guessing all the stupid group emails were really a setup to help the resolution in the end. It might be realistic but I’m a little disappointed that a low sperm count condition ends up with the glory lol

I was a bit dissapointed that it took infertility for him to get with the guy. It gives me the feeling that if he could have kids, he rlly wouldve gone and gotten himself married with the girl and never went back with Tadayuki. Or if he was fertile but still got with tadayuki, realistically i feel based on his character he would later regret it and prob dump yuki for a baby. I mean he cant now, but if he could it would have been a possibility. The only thing i feel like that dude did right in this manga was help yuki gain courage and peace of mind. Knowing how yuki was at the start, u can really see he grew and become bolder. But even that leads me to negativity again, cause tadayuki shouldnt have had to take the initiative at the end. Its not like HE gave up and got engaged. Seme shouldve got off his ass and did it himself.

I think that definitely made the difference in their fate, but in both of them. Tadayuki went looking for him and when he saw him with the girl he gave up (a second time), but when he found out about the break up he made the desicion of not letting this chance slip. Maki, on his side, had never been with a guy before so his feelings were inexplored and confusing, not to mention his shitty dad and the fact that Tadayuki also pushed him away. We can all agree in that if Maki's feelings were that deep he shouln't have had accepted Tadayuki's break up, but in life it usually happens that when you have to make a desicion that's a game changer you hesitate and loose confidence. He himself said he also gave up and pushed the desicion on Tadayuki.

I also think that if Tadayuki had approached Maki before he found out about the sperm count, Maki would have gone back to him, since their feelings were real and Maki never intended to brea up in the first place. His thoughts showed how he felt lost after Tadayuki left him and that got worse with he sperm thing. In conclusion, I think both of them made poor choices, but were lucky enough to be brought back together again by life and its circumstances. Also, it usually happens that in relationships, it always takes for one to be more honest than the other.

Nah its all good. I can see how it was from your side too, even though we came to different conclusions. Sorry if i sorta tainted this book for you tho lol i actually wasnt really expecting anyone to read mine either. But nah, agree to disagree tho.
