Generaly its the male who marks, but supposedly a female mutant(a female lycan in the body of a male human) in this manhwa has a higher hierarchy so it can mark the males

Well I'm confused with this marking, at first did they not say that in lycans it was females who mark their males? So how did Ino, a male, can mark someone?
