But did they want to be spit back out into a new body?? I think a large part of this was consent. They didn’t know what was going to happen to them or their loved ones. And we don’t necessarily know if they really came back as the same people. Spirituality and individuality is a weird jumble of things that humans and monsters can’t really control.
I personally liked Ester but I don’t think I could excuse what she did.
I compare her to an animal, so neither bad or good, she's not human to begin with so that doesnt apply to her so all we can just agree is that she's a threat..
she didn't just brought them back to life, she changed their whole existence. I mean back in her time, she didn't revive their memories, if she could do that maybe thing would be different.
but anyway, why do we have to justify her actions? I think mc's words were enough of an explanation why she was wrong. When a person does a bad deed, whatever her/his circumstances, the bad deed is bad. you can say I forgive her cause she didn't know or I pity her, but it doesn't change the fact that she did wrong.
I like ester's character but what she did is clearly wrong
Guys I don't think ester was that bad cuz aren't humans basically there memories so if she's swallowing & spitting them out, with their memories isn't she just bringing them back to life healthy like???
