Exactly! That was literally the plot I was looking for. Slow paced would have really suited the manga. It'd be nice if Freckles was, initially, very wary of the other guy but slowly got warmed up to him, they became good friends and THEN started getting all doki-doki and bathump-bathump in his presence.
Somehow Freckles personality in Ch1 wasn't the same as his personality in Ch2, but that may just be me ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

First and foremost, this manga was done two years ago as one of Conro's earlier series. It was also serialized in a manga where she may have felt pressed for time, so obviously it won't be her best work.
There's still four more chapters of this series, but if you're already disenchanted with the manga now, I suggest you don't read the rest.

I am probably gonna be hated for this comment a lot but... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I didn't like the manga. It was just too fast paced.I mean, really? DAY 1 you don't even know the guy's name and in DAY 2 suddenly you're head over heels for him, sad that you guys might part forever?
If the fairy put a curse on Freckles, doesn't it mean that the feelings were fake? It was just so...random.
