the situation with the highschool girl is why i don't date people younger than me. most if not all the time it's SO DIFFICULT to reason with them because the concept of dating is still very vague for them. i have a friend who got accused of "leading on" a junior highschool girl when she was the one who kept sending him texts. her group of friends then started to harass him cause he was a supposed "young adult who should've known better than to take advantage of a young girl". naturally, we had to handle the situation carefully (without telling them to fuck off even tho i personally wanted to) cause they're like 4 years younger than us. i lost a shit ton of braincells because of that
